Antigua Citizenship by Investment
National Development Fund (NDF) contribution: USD 230,000 non-refundable contribution covering a single applicant or a family of up to four, under the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013
University of the West Indies (UWI) Fund contribution: USD 260,000 non-refundable contribution covering a family of six or more, with one full-tuition university scholarship granted to a family member (one of the most cost-efficient large-family routes in the Caribbean)
Real estate investment: USD 300,000 minimum in a government-approved real estate project, held for at least 5 years before resale; eligible properties include hotels, condominium units, and approved tourism developments
Business investment: USD 1,500,000 solo or USD 5,000,000 joint (minimum USD 400,000 per applicant) in a pre-approved business venture creating a minimum of 3 jobs
Government processing and Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) administration fees, plus due diligence fees per main applicant, spouse, and dependents aged 12 and older
Mandatory virtual interview fee for all applicants aged 16 and older under the November 2023 framework, plus document apostille, legalization, translation, and biometric capture costs

Antigua and Barbuda citizenship by investment is administered by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) under the Antigua and Barbuda Citizenship by Investment Act, 2013. Eligible applicants obtain Antigua and Barbuda citizenship and a passport in approximately 4 to 7 months through one of four routes: a USD 230,000 non-refundable contribution to the National Development Fund (NDF) covering a single applicant or a family of up to four, a USD 260,000 contribution to the University of the West Indies (UWI) Fund covering a family of six or more with one full-tuition university scholarship for a family member, a USD 300,000 minimum investment in a government-approved real estate project held for at least five years, or a USD 1,500,000 solo (or USD 5,000,000 joint) business investment. From November 2023 a mandatory virtual interview applies to all applicants aged 16 and older, and a 5-day physical visit is required within the first 5 years of citizenship.
Antigua and Barbuda combines visa-free access to approximately 150 countries including the United Kingdom, the Schengen Area, Singapore, and Hong Kong, 0% personal income, capital gains, inheritance, and wealth tax, and the most generous family inclusion framework in the Caribbean covering grandparents and unmarried siblings of any age.
